We created these line drawings and exploded diagrams for Triumph Motorcycles to use in their literature and technical manuals. From soft luggage to intricate electrical or mechanical parts, these illustrations help customers to carry out routine maintenance and to use their Triumph branded products.
Diagrammatical illustrations and exploded diagrams
The client supplied a photograph for each piece which was the only reference material we had available. As keen motorcyclists ourselves, we found that our own knowledge became invaluable. This understanding allowed us to fill in some missing visual references. The resulting collection of mechanical diagrams are complete with nuts, bolts, gears, threads and springs.
Our working drawings are created in Adobe Illustrator. We construct each technical diagram using a minimal range of line-weights. Assembly drawings often need numbered references which relate to accompanying body text for each product and its parts.
